A month dubbed 'Super September' will be the culmination of the 2024 domestic season in England and Wales as a variety of men's and women's professional competitions come to their conclusion.

The County Championship, Vitality Blast, Rachael Heyhoe Flint and Metro Bank One Day Cup will all reach their conclusion during September, as a total of five trophies (two divisions in the Championship) will be decided along with promotion and relegation.

The Charlotte Edwards Cup final will be held on 22 June with Finals Day in Derby. The structure will mirror the Vitality Blast Finals Day with semi-finals and the final played back-to-back. There will also be an increase in double-headers with the Vitality Blast.

The men's County Championship will begin on 5 April with a round of fixtures that includes holders Surrey away to Lancashire and newly promoted Durham hosting Hampshire. This year there will be 15 rounds of matches and each side will have one blank round each to make up their total of 14 fixtures.

The final round of matches will take place between 26-29 September, and fixtures in this block include Surrey taking on Essex at Chelmsford and Hampshire paying a visit to Somerset in Taunton.

The Rachael Heyhoe Flint campaign begins on 24 April when Southern Vipers visit Beckenham to take on South East Stars and Western Storm host Sunrisers in Cardiff. The final of the competition is scheduled to take place in Leicester on 21 September.

A re-run of the 2023 final between Sothern Vipers and The Blaze will kickstart the 2024 Charlotte Edwards Cup. Both teams will meet at the Ageas Bowl on 18 May in the competition opener.

This is the final year of the current regional setup for regional women's cricket, with teams being merged with counties from 2025 onwards. The tendering process for those host counties is taking place this year but is likely to see the top tier of eight teams look largely similar to before the restructuring.

The Vitality Blast begins on the 30 May. The 'Blast Off' concept from last season has been extended to incorporate multiple double-headers with the Charlotte Edwards Cup.

Leicestershire will set about defending their Metro Bank One Day Cup trophy from 24 July. They host Nottinghamshire in their first match. The competition will once again run alongside The Hundred.

Fixtures for The Hundred, which sees Sothern Brave Women and Oval Invincibles Men attempt to defend their titles, will be announced over the coming weeks as well as details of the draft and player retentions.
